Letter — Prefers smart U.S. president

Since the Republican government was voted in, the following things have happened;

a) Two of our largest monuments to greed have been destroyed by terrorists, killing thousands of people.

b) The country has sunk into a protracted financial recession.

c) Two of our country’s largest companies have gone bankrupt amidst charges of fraud. The chairman of one of these companies is (or was) a friend of our president.

d) Our country has invaded Afghanistan.

e) Nearly 2 million people have lost federal jobless benefits in the last two weeks.

In addition, it appears that we are about to kill thousands of people and spend billions of dollars by invading Iraq, and possibly North Korea as well.

I have heard from a source (was it the National Enquirer?) that our president has a below-average I.Q. Personally I would prefer our president to be smart. Still, perhaps intellectually challenged people vote for intellectually challenged presidents.
