Letter: Reporter’s criticism criticized

To the editor:

Got gwak? Robert Stern, where did you get your journalism training, or did you have any? I can’t believe the “editorial” you had printed in the Tahoe Daily Tribune on Wednesday. That was not an editorial. It was a mean and totally selfish and distorted use of our newspaper and your position. Please, go back to school and learn about true journalism, or go back to copy boy. You have grossly misused your position. You should print an apology as big as the “editorial” you wrote. In fact, I would suggest that you also work as a waiter for a while and just see how that professional works and the headaches these people have to put up with, such as people like you. Do something to show that you really care about being fair and being a caring human being. Spend an hour or two walking with a sign to sponsor the restaurant, pay for an ad for that restaurant, do something! Dot Mangnall, not an editor, but I know more than you do about journalism.
