Letter: Response to ‘A good old-fashioned witch hunt’

I read a column regarding the Tribune seeking reader feedback, where in it said “Tell us what you like and how you’d like to see us improve.” OK, you published on Oct. 2 Jim Biller’s “A good old-fashioned witch hunt.”

Biller’s letter is a slam at the leaders of the mob, “the ringleaders,” who are out to nail “a member of your city council.” Just who that member is the reader has to guess. And who are the ringleaders?

Biller assures the reader that the subject of the hunt is “honest and straightforward … She speaks the truth, but the mob leaders don’t like that.” That narrows the field because there are only two females on the council.

Biller suggests, implies. He is indirect; he tries to plant the thought that there is evil in the city. He is so vague that he by stirring the bubbling pot, his pot, is the mischievous one in sheep’s skin.

Biller’s letter is trash and the Tribune is shameless in being a partner to the letter.
