Letter — Solutions for school woes

To the editor:

Today’s paper, Thursday Oct. 17, 2002 states that:

1. Elementary schools have empty classrooms because of declining enrollment.

2. The Middle School is short staffed because they have too many 6th graders.

3. Portable trailers are being moved from Sierra House to the “Overcrowded” High School.

Why don’t they just move the 6th grade to elementary (where it should be anyway) and the 9th grade to the Middle School?
