Letter: Soup Lady
Give me a break! After reading the story “‘Soup lady needs license,” in the May 17 edition of the paper, I felt I had to respond.
The person from the Carson City Health Department who made the decision to require Robin Lecuyer to get a license so she can continue to give her homemade soups to local cancer patients owes the public an apology. This person used very poor judgment in exercising his authority.
They are not serving the public health – all they’ve done is weaken our community. Shame on you, health department!
