Letter: Tahoe – Stand behind Ruth

I hope that public opinion for Ruth Hughes outweighs El Dorado County’s case against her.

Is it better for an already dead bear to end up in a processing plant or in the hands of someone who obviously loves animals?

To be able to work nine years with “throw away” animals and then be fired over this is completely irresponsible on the part of the county.

Reinstate her job and instead of using my tax dollars in this senseless persecution use the money to fund spay-neuter, and housing and adoption of live dumped animals.

Ruth Hughes has no reason to be embarrassed. She did the right thing.

Please Tahoe, stand behind her!
