Letter: Thanks to the community from former Lake Tahoe Humane Society education director

As former education director for the Lake Tahoe Humane Society, I would like to thank all the wonderful people I’ve had the opportunity to work with in our community over the last 10 years. I was fortunate to be able to form partnerships with many local agencies and organizations.

Thanks to the South Tahoe Public Library, Boys & Girls Club of South Lake Tahoe, Lake Tahoe Community College, Lake Tahoe Unified School District teachers and students, Bona Fide Books, Live Violence Free, and the South Tahoe Environmental Education Coalition, which consists of both government agencies and private organizations.

I apologize if I have left anyone out! It has been a pleasure working with all of you to educate our youth and community on the importance of animals in our lives and on how to be good stewards of our environment.

I wish you all continued success on the work you do for our community as I look forward to new opportunities!

Sincerely,

Liz Maul

South Lake Tahoe, California
