Letter to the editor- A random act of kindness

To the editor- I am sending this letter to thank the anaonymous lady who paid for my post office box for an entire year. I am on disability and my rent became due on my box at the end of May, I went to the clerk and explained that I wouldn’t be able to pay the fee until July 3rd and was worried about receiveing my Social Security check. He said he would hold the box until then but I had to come to the counter to pick up my mail, which was more than kind in itself. When I went in to collect my mail the next day I was informed by another clerk that a woman had paid for my box.

She left a not but did not leave a name or number and this is my only way of thanking a kind soul. Only you know who you are, and if the world had more people in it like yourself it would be a much much better place.

From the bottom of my heart I thank you.
