Letter to the editor- Compare the lake’s clarity

To the editor:

To all of the naysayers, critics and opponents of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, The League to Save Lake Tahoe and any other organization, group or agency whose mission is to preserve the clarity of Lake Tahoe, I urge you, I beg you, I plead with you to take a walk from Timber Cove Resort to El Dorado Beach, on the shore of the lake. There you will witness zero clarity of Lake Tahoe.

Then go to D.L. Bliss, the North Shore, Sand Harbor, or anywhere else around the lake and you can’t help but notice the famous, pristine clarity of Lake Tahoe. Use this opportunity to decide for yourself which you prefer, which you think is socially, environmentally, spiritually and economically better.

Perhaps when you make this comparison, you will be compelled to stop your unwarranted criticism and join in the effort to make a positive difference for all, regardless of any ill-conceived personal sacrifice you may harbor.
