Letter to the editor- Cutting down Forest Service

To the editor:

My name is Eric Bergsohn and I’m 12 years old. I find this disturbing, that the Forest Service will not let the community cut fire hazards, dead trees, because people are more important than scenic trees. The scenic trees (dead trees) are fuel to the fire. Small wildlife fires are good, because they recycle the dead plants and trees. To cut down hazardous trees and move away dead plants will save homes and maybe lives. That’s why people and the Forest Service should let people cut down the trees.
