Letter to the editor: Help us hold on to our memories

We have the opportunity to purchase the home that Brianna loved with all her heart. We have to move six times in the nine years of her life due to family issues.

We would like our happy, bubbly girl who had smiles, hugs and kisses along with a kind word for everyone she met from Kiva Beach to Raley’s, Chevy’s (her favorite restaurant) and many other local businesses. She loved Miss Marcia’s dance the most. Miss Marcia was and is still wonderful to our family.

Brianna would offer people $2 to get what she wanted, so we would like her $2 plus to go toward a home where she can park her pink Barbie Jeep. She has a beautiful room that we were about to paint “playground pink” to match her Barbie dream house, her princess mirror and bed set. She was and still is a shining star from Miss Marcia’s to heaven above.

She loved her room and house very much. Old and new precious memories were and will be created there every day. She loved playing in the backyard with her two St. Bernards and on her trampoline with her sister Cassie. She loved to build her house with her big blocks.

Please help us with your donations to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity that, with David Kruztman’s help, our beautiful happy and smiling little princess Brianna Reed can come home forever.

We need about $10,000 for a downpayment. We have set up the Brianna Reed Memorial Fund at the El Dorado Savings Bank at the “Y.”
