Letter to the editor- Now famous snail darter

To the editor:

It should be fairly clear that the chief of the Federal Bureau of Reclamation, William Gianelli, who used to be a director of water resources in California, dumped Klamath Valley farm water and generated power for California during the recent power crisis, to “save the salmon,” at a huge profit for political friends, and which was approved by a former TVA director, who now controls California power purchases.

So, is there any water left for the farmers, or for the “fish,” which provided the bait, hook, line and sinker?

The fish that was used for bait on a previous TVA power price-fixing expedition was the now-famous snail darter.
