Letter to the editor- Still trying to find woman at accident

To the editor,

This is in response to Karen Campbell’s letter, “trying to find person at wreck.” Everything she stated was true. I was the first car to be hit on the morning of Dec. 17 and the driver of the second car that hit my car and Ms. Campbell’s car did indeed leave the scene without exchanging information. It was a miracle that Ms. Campbell was not injured and that my car only sustained minor damage.

To the driver who left the scene, you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself. If you do not come forward, I hope someone will turn you in . Perhaps the auto shop that repaired you car will recognize this and call Ms. Campbell at 577-2739. And if you even have car insurance, I hope they denied your claim and raised your rates.

To Karen Campbell, my car has been repaired, thanks to you. You are an honest, upstanding citizen and you deserve better.
