Letter to the Editor: Tired of political ads

I have become tired of Senator Harry Reid’s campaign ads on television. It is bad enough that we have to listen to them during the “re-election time” but we shouldn’t have to listen to them during the “off” years. I am asking my neighbors to join me in calling Senator Reid’s office and voicing my objection to these ads running on television. I called his Carson City office and gave them my opinion and hope that others will do the same thing.

Mr. Reid is running scared and he thinks these will help, but to me he is only making his re-election harder to obtain.

For those of you who don’t want to spend the time looking up his number(s) in the phone book, here they are: Reno Office (775) 686-5750, and Carson City Office (775) 882-7343. It will take about 3 minutes of your time, but I feel it is time well spent. Even California residents should call. Do you really enjoy seeing these ads? Your voice should be heard if you are as tired of these pats on the back as I am.
