Letter to the editor- Wounded, yet standing tall
You have wounded us
But we will not fall
We will hold each other up and give each other
strength.
We are wounded
But we will not fall
We will pull our differences together and use
them to heal.
We are wounded
But we will not fall
We will bury our dead and mourn their loss with tears.
We are wounded
But we will not fall
We will pull ourselves up from the ashes with the help
of our fellow man.
We are wounded
But we will not fall
We will become stronger and wiser with each passing
day. And remember Sept. 11, 2001.
A day we were wounded
But did not fall
