Letter — TRPA is doing the correct thing

Regarding the blight of unauthorized vacation rentals on our local communities around the lake, I fully support TRPA in its recent decision to enforce the code for vacation rentals. We have all seen changes to our neighborhoods and the impacts of vacation rentals who invite 10 and 20 guests to a single house. The impacts on parking, noise, and (improper) trash disposal are just a few of the problems created by vacation rentals. Kudos to TRPA for enforcing its code on this subject.
