Letter: What does Donald Trump have to do with Lake Tahoe South Shore pedestrian issues? (opinion)

This is in response to Kay Ebeling’s letter on Nov. 2. She had a great letter complaining about pedestrians being second class citizens to Lime scooters and Lime bikes and other bikes, and bike lanes not being used.

Let’s take it a step further, bikes/scooters going the wrong way on the roads, bikes with no lights, bikes/pedestrians not following traffic lights that are meant for everyone, pedestrians wearing black and having no light so drivers can see them, these are all problems for pedestrians/vehicle drivers. All great points.

But then she has to go and blame our president! What does he have to do with all this? What does he have to do with a lack of retail marijuana shops? Get a medical card if need be.

All of these problems have been there way before Donald Trump took office, but she sounds like she is part of the “Everything is Trump’s Fault” crowd. Very sad.
