Letter — Why not help schools?

‘Tis the season for giving … why not give back to your local schools? Many in the community may not have heard of budget shortfalls predicted in the district directly related to a recent sharp decline in school enrollment –especially in our elementary schools. Discussion is rampant on how to best solve the problem. Consider directing some of your 2002 charitable giving back to your community! The schools are one of the major forces that nurture and challenge our children to be their best. Help keep their dreams alive. Thank you!
