Letters to the editor for Aug. 25
I read your article on repairs at the skate park (Aug. 8). Volunteers are putting a lot of work into making the park a safer and better place for our kids to ride. It is great to see the community pull together for this.
What puzzles me is why the city gave $35,000 to construct a dog park – while the kids had to rely on donations to have a safe place to skate! Are dogs more important than our youths?
