Letters to the editor: Olympian grateful for exceptional community support
Wow, I was blown away by the love and support Tahoe has given me over the last few months! I must thank you guys, though, because the community of South Lake and Meyers raised me and taught me what I know today!
I was pleasantly shocked by the amount of people who came out to welcome Jamie, Hannah, and myself at both the parade and the celebration at Sierra at Tahoe. You guys made it unforgettable. I would also like to thank the people who made those events possible, and especially Sierra at Tahoe for organizing and putting it all on.
Sierra has been there from day one as a place that has been my home, believed and supported me, and celebrated with me. I am so thankful for such a great family at Sierra at Tahoe!
I would also like to thank the people who presented me with awards and honored me at the ceremony. I was blown away and honored.
