To the editor: Standing up for Wildlife Care
Hello, Mr. McDougall, you just happen to notice there’s a wildlife care facility behind you. Move to a city where the wildlife is much less predictable. The Millhams have for many years given unselfishly of their lives to protect and save all types of animals in need. We should be so honored in Tahoe to have such a facility where people can learn to care for wildlife and where other parts of the nation come to learn and share information.
I for one have seen firsthand how hard they work to raise money and how hard they work for all creatures. I truly believe there’s more to the story, and I believe it’s called “greed.”
By the way, Mr. McDougall, must be nice to have family ties working for the city. Sometimes humanity just “stinks.”
