Kudos: Volunteers make Valhalla cleanup possible

On behalf of Valhalla Tahoe I would like to thank the 30 plus volunteers who helped to rake and clean up the beautiful Grand Lawn, Valhalla Grand Hall and Valhalla Boathouse Theater at Valhalla’s annual spring cleanup on May 13. Needless to say the winter conditions contributed to cover the lawn and the entire Valhalla site with pine needles, pine cones and debris of all types.

Many of the volunteers have been volunteering with Valhalla for years and this year we welcomed new volunteers, the G-Team Lawn service and nine members of the South Lake Tahoe High School Key Club. The members of the Key Club were amazing with their enthusiasm, hard work and smiling faces looking for their next assignment.

Kudos to all of our volunteers as we could not maintain the integrity of this unique historic site without you!
