Optimist Club to host Day in Paradise

The Optimist Club will be holding the 12th annual “Day In Paradise” at Tahoe Paradise Park in Meyers on June 27. The event includes duck races, pancake breakfast, car show, barbecue featuring Overland Meats burgers, barbecued ribs and hot dogs. There will be a beer garden and live music by Pre Flight and Deep Fried Mojo. There will also be free games and prizes available for youth. All proceeds go back to the community to support local youth. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Duck gates open at 10 a.m. with the first race starting at 11 a.m. Tickets are available now.
