Optimist club to host fun ‘Day in Paradise’

The South Lake Tahoe Optimists will host their third annual “Day in Paradise” fundraiser on Saturday at Tahoe Paradise Park in Meyers. Gates open at 10 a.m.

The event will include fun for the whole family. There will be duck races starting at 11 a.m.; a “Little Duck Decorating Corral” for the kids; games and prizes; and a barbecue, food and drinks.

Tickets are available at Albertsons, Eloise Automotive, Emerald Bay Towing, Thomas Haen Company, Coldwell Banker-McKinney and Associates, or may be purchased from any Optimist Club member.
