Order a box lunch to support CASA

The fourth annual CASA Box Lunch will take place April 13. The event gives local businesses an opportunity to support the work of CASA in the community. The best part is that lunch will be delivered to workplaces. There’s no need to dress up, go out, buy raffle tickets or schmooze in public – just “order in” from CASA and support this valuable organization.

Court Appointed Special Advocates is a nonprofit group that advocates for children who are part of the court system, usually through no fault of their own. Each volunteer speaks for the child’s best interests in court and is a consistent, positive adult for children during this difficult time in their lives.

Last year, CASA volunteers delivered more than 1,000 lunches to more than 100 businesses on the South Shore. This year, we would love to have even more support. Each lunch costs $10 and includes a gourmet turkey sub-style sandwich, chips, bottled water and dessert.

For information or order forms, call the CASA office at (530) 573-3072.
