The Tahoe Arts Project will present “An Evening with Oscar” benefit Feb. 24 at the MontBleu Theater. A silent auction and no-host bar will begin at 4 p.m., followed by the live telecast at 5 p.m. and dinner at 5:30 p.m.

The cost is $65 per person, a reserved table for 10 is $700, and a romantic reserved booth for two is $150.

Tickets are available at the visitor centers in California and Nevada and may be charged by phone by calling the TAP office at (530) 542-3632.

The evening will include a five-course dinner, silent auction, raffle and betting prizes, entertainment, celebrity look-alikes and a live broadcast of the Oscars on a giant screen. Hosts for the evening are Randy and Theresa Daggs of Dyna “Mic” Duo.

The community can be part of the affair by advertising in the program, donating to the silent auction, volunteering before, during and after the event, and attending the Oscar party and bringing all their friends. For more information and to volunteer, call the TAP office.

The Oscar party is a fundraiser for TAP. In its 21st years, TAP’s artists-in-the-schools meet the need for high-quality fine-arts activities for the region’s children.

TAP also produces a public performance series for the community’s enjoyment.
