"Movement," a painting by Dolores Manning, features a plant at the Huntington Library Botanical Gardens.

The Valhalla Grand Hall at the Tallac Historic Site will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, when Nancy Clarke will offer her oil landscapes and Dee Manning her watercolor landscapes.

Both artists have shown their art in the Grand Hall the past two summers, after many years in the Pope Twin Cabins at the site. The Tallac Historic Site is three miles north of the “Y,” first right turn after Historic Camp Richardson. For more information about the Clarke and Manning exhibit, call (775) 782-8035 or (530) 544-1310.

In addition, Clarke will be one of 30 artists who will exhibit at the Greenhouse Garden Center’s fourth annual art festival, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 18. The public is invited to view the art of Northern Nevada artists and hear the musicians in the garden center, 2450 Curry Street, Carson City. For more information call Mary at (775) 882-8600.
