Pamela Guzzi

On May 5, 2005, an Earth Angel ascended and left a huge hole in our world. Pamela Guzzi was the light in the lives of many. She was a Campus Security Assistant for LTUSD at STHS for 12 years, a Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care board member and avid volunteer until she succumbed to a rare form of cancer.

Her amazing spirit and love of life touched many. She taught us so much in the short time we had with her. She had a special way of connecting to people and animals that endeared her to many. She was always ready to help anyone and any creature in need. Pamela, you are forever loved and missed.

The ALLY-STHS (Gay-Straight Alliance Club) is accepting monetary donations for an ALLY-STHS scholarship, established by faculty in honor of Pamela, to be given to a graduating senior actively involved in the club. The recipient will have been a role model to students and community as well as being actively involved in promoting acceptance and tolerance within the community and at STHS. The scholarship will be presented at the senior awards ceremony in June and has been named the Pamela Guzzi-ALLY Peace and Acceptance Scholarship. For more information about making a donation contact Bridey Heidel at (530) 541-4111 ext. 255.
