Parents play a role at Tahoe nursery school

Tahoe Parents Nursery School is a parent participation preschool that has been a part of the Lake Tahoe community for 48 years.

TPNS is a fully licensed preschool serving children 2 years 9 months to 5 years of age.

The program operates from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday from September to June, coinciding with the Lake Tahoe Unified School District calendar.



TPNS enriches the lives of children and their families through a developmentally appropriate preschool, which is enhanced by a quality parent education program.

The school provides a program rich in language, literature, motor skills, music, science and art. TPNS offers a wide variety of planned and spontaneous experiences designed to enhance physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.



TPNS is enrolling students for fall and still has some openings for this spring. Parents and their preschool children are invited to visit the school any Thursday in March.
