Parks and Rec Department offers day camps

Summer may be half over but there is plenty of fun remaining at the South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation Department. The day camps are fun, secure, affordable and convenient.

Besides great classes and games, the Recreation Department offers fantastic trips. Upcoming trips include Wild Island Water Slides, Vikingsholm, amusement parks and miniature golf. The older kids will enjoy paintball, California and Nevada fairs, Rivercats baseball and Waterworld.

Participants pay only for the days they use the drop-in program. For more information call (530) 542-6056 or visit the Recreation Complex at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd.
