Entertainer Owen Baker-Flynn will juggle, mime and perform magic Friday at the South Lake Tahoe Branch Library.

Join the “inspired silliness” of performer Owen Flynn-Baker at 2 p.m. Friday at the South Lake Tahoe Branch Library. An accomplished entertainer, Baker-Flynn studied mime, juggling, acting and magic at the University of Rhode Island, New York City and Paris, France. Since then, he’s been performing all over the San Francisco Bay area. The entire family will enjoy his wild antics as he features juggling, mime, magic, fire-eating and fire juggling, balancing tricks and audience participation.

Sign-ups continue through August for the Summer Reading Club, which is designed as an incentive for children to read during summer vacation by rewarding the readers with prizes for time spent reading.

The South Lake Tahoe Branch Library is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For additional information call (530) 573-3185.
