Thomasina is a bit rare as a female orange tabby. Only about 20 percent are female and, like her, they usually are real characters. At 16 years young, she’s still playful. She’s declawed and needs to be an only pet. The shelter is overflowing with cats and kittens. Please adopt one now at El Dorado County Animal Services, 530-573-7925. For spay-neuter assistance and other support, call the Lake Tahoe Humane Society and SPCA at 530-542-2857.
