Dog-obedience classes are available for people who need help establishing good conduct and curbing bad habits in their pets. Instructor Guy Yeaman uses a lighthanded approach to help teach dogs to obey commands.

Each dog needs a choke chain and fabric or leather lead. Dogs must be at least 4 months old and current on their shots. Results are guaranteed.

Classes will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. each Thursday for six weeks at Kingsbury Middle School. The fee is $75 for the six-week session. The next six-week session is scheduled to start this Thursday.
