Photo show at Reno City Hall
The Metro Gallery at Reno City Hall continues to display innovative photography in a new hanging titled ” More In-sight Full” by Rhonda L. Wilson. The artist’s work will hang through Jan. 21.
The show features Wilson’s hand-made, toned silver-gelatin prints in a series of work open to the public. The public is invited to enjoy this innovative work free of charge.
Her particular sensitivity to form and light are featured prominently throughout her work.
“There is a natural tension between the shadows and the lights that attracts me. This tension is drama of conflicting forces that adds a certain distinctive quality that gives pleasure to my senses. I want you to see the beauty and the value in these seemingly unremarkable scenes,” Wilson said.
As one of four galleries managed by Sierra Arts, the new Metro Gallery at Reno City Hall is a welcome addition to the burgeoning Arts District. It is at One East First Street in downtown Reno.
