Piano sale raises money for fine arts

Christina Proctor / Lake Tahoe Community College

Lake Tahoe Community College is holding a piano sale Sept. 12-13 in the Duke Theatre lobby.

This past year the college, through an ongoing loan program, has been privileged to use a new Yamaha C-5 grand piano. This piano, along with selected others, will be on sale at tremendous savings this weekend.

Yamaha Piano Company, courtesy of Carpenter’s Music World of Reno, is holding the sale.

The sale is open to the general public on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
