Pilates studio opens in Nephele’s Center

Pamela’s Pilates opened its doors in October in the Nephele’s Center. Owner Pamela Amsden is certified through the STOTT method of Pilates, and has been trained in mat and equipment-based Pilates. She also teaches mat Pilates at Lake Tahoe Community College.

Amsden’s equipment-based studio features a stability chair, two reformers and a cadillac trapeze table. Classes are private or semi-private and are by appointment only.

She lists the benefits of Pilates as core strength and stability, mind-body awareness, stress and pain relief, increased self confidence and effective as a post-rehabilitation exercise.

Amsden is offering a grand-opening discount with each 10-class package.
