The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce is bringing long-time Tahoe resident Donna Hartley to the South Shore to share her unique and proven techniques to help businesses succeed.

Hartley’s presentation will be on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 11:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., at the MontBleu convention center. The cost is $35 for chamber members and $50 for non-members. Lunch is included.

Reservations are required by Nov. 1; call the chamber at (775) 588-1728 or (530) 544-5050.

Hartley survived a fiery DC-10 plane in 1978 as well as skin cancer and open-heart surgery, according to her Web site, http://www.donnahartley.com.

Her story has been featured on NBC, ABC, PBS, The Learning Channel, The New York Times and is chronicled in her best-selling book, “Fire Up Your Life!” Donna is a sought-after expert on managing the changing tides of life; she is a member of the National Speakers Association and owner of Hartley International.

Hartley’s presentation is part of the Chamber’s on-going efforts to provide opportunities for business owners and community members to come together, share ideas, learn from the experts and hear from others on ways to have a more successful and enriching life.
