Planning commission looking for applicants

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The City Council will appoint five people to serve two-year terms on the planning commission from February 2011 to December 2012. Applicants must reside within the city limits.

The planning commission generally meets monthly assuming there is business to conduct.

The City Council will be making the appointments at its regular meeting of Feb. 8.

Applications may be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office located at 1901 Airport Road, South Lake Tahoe, California between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of the first and third of each month furlough Fridays. Applications can also be downloaded from the city’s website at http://www.cityofslt

.us, mailed, faxed or e-mailed to interested parties upon request to the City Clerk’s Office. Completed applications must be returned to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 5 p.m. Feb. 1.
