Plant-Krauss, James Taylor coming to Tahoe

If the announcement of the first two shows are an indicator, the summer of 2008 could be the greatest series yet for Harveys Outdoor Concerts.
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss will perform June 28. Guitarist-producer T-Bone Burnett will perform with the band.
James Taylor will perform July 26.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 3 at Ticketmaster outlets.
Plant, the singer for Led Zeppelin, is touring with Krauss, performing songs from their album produced by Burnett “Raising Sand.” The song “Gone, Gone, Gone (Done Moved On)” won a Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.
Taylor and Krauss won the same award in 2003 for “How’s the World Treating You.” Taylor has four more Grammys and in 2006 was the Grammy MisiCares Person of the Year.
Plant-Krauss tickets are $49.50, $69.50 and $89.50. Taylor’s are $49.50, $79.50 and $125.
Previous summers at Harveys Arena have had notable acts such as the Eagles, Stevie Wonder, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Steely Dan, Paul Simon and Beyonce.
