Plein air artists’ work on display through weekend

Eight artists who painted in the Markleeville Plein Air event in June will be painting the Markleeville area starting about 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 29. This will be the last weekend the artwork will be in the Markleeville Art Gallery. The show closes July 31 and the artists will take their paintings to other shows. All paintings are original, framed and ready to hang in their new home.  

A reception will be at the gallery, 14841 Highway 89 in Markleeville, from noon to 2 p.m. The artists will be on site.
