Poker tournament benefits OPEN

A Texas hold’em tournament to benefit Ordinary People Meeting Extraordinary Needs has been scheduled Oct. 4 at St. Theresa Church Parish Hall.

The party and auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the tournament will get under way at 7:30 p.m. A $45 buy-in donation includes dinner. Add-ons and donations rebuys will be available for $20. To attend the dinner and participate in the silent auction only, the cost is $15. To make a reservation and for more information call (530) 573-0243. Tickets may be available at the door if not sold out.

The event will include assorted prizes and a grand prize winner. The tournament will be run by a professional team and Texas hold’em lessons will also be available.
