Police investigate shooting on Bonanza Avenue

Police are investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday, June 27, on Bonanza Avenue in South Lake Tahoe.

About 8:55 p.m., police responded to a report of gunshots being fired from vehicles in the area of 1100 Bonanza Avenue. When police arrived, they were not able to locate any suspects or victims, according to a press release from the South Lake Tahoe Police Department. Police were able to locate evidence that multiple people were involved in a verbal fight and that several gunshots were fired. At this time, no one has been reported as being injured in the fight, police stated.
