Police investigating Ski Run Boulevard incident

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — South Lake Tahoe Police are investigating a BB gun shooting incident that shattered a car window and shut down parts of Ski Run Boulevard Friday night.

About 9:30 p.m. a vehicle was driving on Paradise Avenue near Ski Run Boulevard when the window was shattered, said South Lake Tahoe Police Officer Ray Poole.

Police shut down parts of Ski Run for about an hour while they investigated the incident.

“We didn’t want anyone walking or driving or riding their bike until we knew what was going on,” Poole said.

Police later discovered the shot came from a BB Pellet gun and found the gun on Paradise Avenue. They are still investigating the incident.
