Police Report: Pot allegedly found during traffic stop

The following is a partial list of incidents handled recently by the South Lake Tahoe Police Department.

Information came from the department’s incident log and Lt. Marty Hale.

— A 57-year-old Placerville man was stopped for a traffic violation Dec. 14 in the 1000 block of Emerald Bay Road and found to have an ounce of marijuana, according to police.

The man was cited on suspicion of possession at about 4 p.m.

— A be-on-the-lookout advisory (BOLO) was issued Dec. 14 for a white Jeep after a witness saw the driver drinking and driving in the area of Lake Tahoe Boulevard and San Francisco Avenue, according to police.

— A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at about 8 p.m. Saturday at Raley’s in the Village Center.

Officers were called on a report of a man punching a woman. Police could not verify that there had been an assault.

— A 54-year-old female was reported missing by a family member Monday at about 10:35 a.m. in the 800 block of Modesto Avenue, according to police. She remained missing as of Tuesday.
