Songs from the 1970s through today will be on tap at Cabo Wabo Cantina for Thanksgiving weekend.

Poparazzi’s performs Friday and Saturday, Nov. 27-28, at the Harveys Lake Tahoe bar and restaurant. The group plays pop, rock and funk and tailors its sets to fit the crowd. Poparazzi describes itself as “kind of like a human jukebox, but with far more personality.”

“This Sacramento-based band’s sole purpose is to elevate your event to a fun-filled time to remember,” according to the group’s online biography. “The Poparazzi team is stacked with industry experience and talent. All of its players and crew have worked in the entertainment business for decades and have played and toured with some of the biggest names in music.”

The group’s song list includes hits from Billy Idol, Bruno Mars, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Madonna and Michael Jackson, in addition to others.

Cabo Wabo Cantina is located downstairs at Harveys Lake Tahoe at 18 U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline.

Cabo Wabo’s restaurant will be closed from Nov. 30 through Dec. 18, although the lounge will be open for cocktails and will offer a limited food menu, in addition to nightly live music.
