Popular event puts dads on their daughters’ dance cards

Provided to the TribuneFathers and daughters swing and sway to the beat of the music at the 2002 Father/Daughter Sweetheart Dance. The 2003 event will take place Feb. 7 at Harveys Resort Casino convention center.

Tickets are available for purchase to the fourth annual Douglas County Parks and Recreation Father/Daughter Sweetheart Dance. The dance is scheduled from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at Harveys Resort & Casino convention Center. The event, which is sponsored by Harrah’s/Harveys, is sure to be a sold-out event.

Tickets are $12 per couple and $4 for each additional daughter. Due to the popularity of the event, early registration is recommended. Tickets will not be sold after Feb. 3. To purchase tickets visit Kahle Community Center, 236 Kingsbury Grade, or call (775) 586-7271 and pay by credit card.
