Post Office announces holiday hours

South Lake Tahoe’s holiday schedule for the United States Postal Service is as follows:

-Main Post Office at 1046 Al Tahoe Blvd. – 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 & 23; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 16.

-Tahoe Valley Station at 950 Emerald Bay Road. – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; The office is closed on Saturdays but not through the lunch hour on weekdays.



-Stateline Station at 3962 Lake Tahoe Blvd. – 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, closed between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., open again from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; It’s closed on Saturdays.

-Bijou Postal Store at 3368 Sandy Way – 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, closed between 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., open again from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; The office is closed on Saturdays.




-Tahoe Paradise Station at 3150 U.S. Highway 50 – 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, closed between 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., open again from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; This station is also closed on Saturdays.

All post offices will be closed Dec. 25, 2000 and Jan. 1, 2001.
