Potluck speaker to discuss finances

Submitted to the Tribune

A speaker will discuss living trusts and finances at a potluck Friday at South Lake Tahoe Senior Center.

The event will feature good food, socializing and an interesting program by Derrick Smith, who will talk about estate planning, health care planning and tax planning. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Those who attend the potluck, which begins at 5:30 p.m., are asked to bring their own plate, utensils and either a salad, side dish, fruit or dessert for six to eight people. A pot roast will be prepared by Sandra Stephens. Guests are asked to call Sandra at 530-542-2034 to discuss what you will bring, so there can be a variety of dishes.

Members of South Lake Tahoe Senior Citizens, Inc. who attend the potluck and program may win a $25 door prize. Guests are welcome and everyone can win cash raffle prizes.
