Power outage hits more than 3,000 homes

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Liberty Energy reported a power outage that affected more than 3,000 customers in the South Lake Tahoe area. Affected houses range from near the airport to Al Tahoe, and include Lake Tahoe Community College and the South Tahoe Public Utility District sewer plant.

Officials from the company have located the problem. Power to all affected customers is expected to be restored by 4:00 p.m., said Liberty Energy spokesman Randy Kelly.
