Psychic charged with fraud
MINDEN, Nev. – Members of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrested Helen Welch Wednesday afternoon on the felony charge of attempting to obtain money under false pretenses following an undercover investigation. Welch operates the “Little Psychic Shop” located at 1578 Highway 395 in Minden. The investigation was initiated after the Sheriff’s Office received complaints of fraud by customers of Welch.
Anyone who believes they may have been the victim of fraudulent activity involving Helen Welch is encouraged to call the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division at 775-782-9905 to make a report.
